Description

  • Translate business outcomes and requirements into secure, governed, explainable AI solutions aligned to platform best practices.
  • Identify and qualify AI use cases with clients, including assessing data readiness, risk, human-in-the-loop needs, and fit for AI.
  • Conduct client and internal demos of Now Assist, AI Agents, AI Control Tower, and agentic workflows.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and surface AI-specific delivery risks during planning.
  • Build and extend Now Assist skills, AI Agents, agentic workflows, and orchestration logic.
  • Develop supporting platform foundations such as integrations, Flow Designer and Integration Hub actions, custom tools, and knowledge/catalog data quality.
  • Configure and tune Predictive Intelligence, Document and Task Intelligence, Virtual Agent, NLU, and AI Search relevancy.
  • Extend AI solutions through Generative AI Controller, AI Agent Fabric/MCP, and third-party LLM or agent integrations when needed.
  • Establish evaluation and monitoring practices, including baseline metrics, test suites, A/B measurement, and drift monitoring.
  • Enforce responsible AI guardrails, peer review quality, promotion discipline, and UAT/hypercare defect resolution.
  • Mentor junior developers and coordinate daily development tasks to protect delivery timelines.
  • Lead AI delivery across at least one additional ServiceNow product suite and build reusable accelerators for broader adoption.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in the ServiceNow domain with recent production experience building AI-enabled solutions.
  • Deep ServiceNow AI knowledge, including Now Assist, AI Agent Studio, AI Agent Orchestrator, AI Search, Predictive Intelligence, Document/Task Intelligence, Virtual Agent, AI Control Tower, and Generative AI Controller.
  • Fluency in data foundations such as Workflow Data Fabric, CMDB/CSDM health, knowledge governance, and taxonomy design.
  • Core platform expertise with integrations, Integration Hub, Flow Designer, Service Portal, UI Builder, Workspaces, and imports.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced JavaScript, Glide APIs, REST integration design and consumption, authentication schemes, and data pipelines.
  • Applied AI experience with prompt engineering, retrieval and grounding patterns, tool/function calling, and agent orchestration.
  • Strong evaluation discipline, including defining success metrics, systematic testing, and honest reporting of results.
  • Practical understanding of responsible AI concerns such as privacy, access control, auditability, bias, and hallucination risk.
  • Proven leadership in at least one ServiceNow suite beyond core ITSM and Service Portal.
  • ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS, and AI-related micro-certifications are welcome, though hands-on expertise is valued more highly.
  • Familiarity with LLM providers/APIs, vector search, RAG architectures, MCP, cloud platforms, DevOps toolchains, or analytics outside ServiceNow is a plus.
