Description

  • Develop and maintain cloud cost allocation, budgeting, and chargeback models across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Implement and enforce tagging and resource hierarchy standards for cost-critical cloud resources.
  • Build and publish cost visibility dashboards and reports for engineering and finance stakeholders.
  • Support unified multi-cloud cost reporting, forecasting, and billing validation.
  • Execute rightsizing, scheduling, and lifecycle optimization of cloud resources across major cloud platforms.
  • Manage Reservations, Savings Plans, Committed Use Discounts, and related licensing benefits.
  • Implement policy-as-code and governance controls using infrastructure and cloud policy tools.
  • Participate in anomaly detection, spend forecasting, and automated remediation workflows.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline management, infrastructure automation, and GitOps practices.
  • Provide insights in monthly cost and performance reviews and maintain operational documentation.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Operations, DevOps, or SRE.
  • 1–2 years of experience in FinOps or cloud cost optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with at least two major public clouds: AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
  • Proven experience with tagging strategy, cost reporting, and optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with Reservations, Savings Plans, Committed Use Discounts, and rightsizing.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, QuickSight, or Looker.
  • Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
  • Experience with DevOps automation tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or GCP Cloud Build.
  • Preferred certifications include FinOps Certified Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect – Associate, AZ-104, or Google Cloud Engineer.
