Description

  • Own a core analytics domain within Credit Analytics, driving execution and continuous improvement of forecasting, valuation, or risk capital frameworks.
  • Develop and enhance credit forecasting and valuation methodologies, including loss forecasting, scenario analysis, and portfolio performance measurement.
  • Contribute to risk capital analytics and reporting that supports securitizations, warehouse facilities, forward-flow programs, and investor reporting.
  • Translate complex analytics into clear insights and recommendations that inform product strategy, credit policy, financial planning, and funding decisions.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Machine Learning, Finance, Product, Engineering, and Capital teams to align on metrics, definitions, and decision workflows.
  • Build and scale analytics infrastructure, including data models, pipelines, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Establish best practices for validation, monitoring, and governance of credit models and analytics outputs.
  • Lead and develop a team of analysts through coaching, high standards, and a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in analytics, credit risk, or quantitative finance within fintech, financial services, or related industries.
  • 2+ years of team leadership or mentorship experience.
  • Experience building or applying credit risk, loss forecasting, portfolio analytics, or valuation frameworks in consumer lending or a similar domain.
  • Exposure to risk capital or structured finance concepts such as securitizations, warehouse facilities, forward flow, or investor reporting.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, including proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or R.
  • Experience working with large datasets.
  • Ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering with machine learning or data science teams, particularly in underwriting or model performance monitoring, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with capital analytics, deal economics, and risk/return frameworks is preferred.
  • Experience building or improving analytics infrastructure, such as data models, dashboards, automated reporting, or GenAI solutions, is preferred.
  • Exposure to model governance, controls, or audit processes such as SOX, model validation, or valuation reviews is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment across teams is preferred.
  • Remote location is available for this role, and the team operates on West Coast time zones.

  • Anticipated base salary range of $182,300 to $252,500 USD for U.S. remote candidates.
