Description

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients and support the broader account team.
  • Build relationships with HR teams, benefits administrators, consultants, and other client contacts.
  • Respond to inquiries, coordinate internal follow-through, and resolve or escalate client issues.
  • Maintain accurate account records, communications, action items, and documentation in Salesforce and other systems.
  • Coordinate eligibility updates, benefit changes, plan configuration, implementations, renewals, and routine account maintenance.
  • Monitor account performance, pharmacy spend, and utilization trends; identify cost-saving and optimization opportunities.
  • Prepare quarterly business plans, financial summaries, client reporting packages, meeting agendas, and follow-up actions.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Eligibility, Billing, Clinical, IT, and other partners to deliver client requests on schedule.
  • Follow company policies and compliance requirements while identifying process and client-experience improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
  • 0–1 year of experience in account management, client success, or client-facing operations within a PBM, health plan, TPA, or managed-care environment.
  • Healthcare experience is required.
  • Working knowledge of pharmacy benefit operations, including claims processing, formulary management, eligibility, network configuration, and benefit plan design.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex pharmacy benefit information to nontechnical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and business tools such as Microsoft Office and Teams.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar healthcare CRM platforms, quarterly business reviews, and client-facing financial reporting preferred.
  • Experience in a transparent, pass-through, or PBM-optimizer organization and in a team-based account model preferred.
