Description

  • Support development of business strategy and product vision from a zero-to-one starting point.
  • Own the full deal process, including sourcing, pitching, negotiating, and signing partners.
  • Negotiate and execute complex commercial contracts with new partners.
  • Manage existing strategic partner relationships and expand joint collaboration.
  • Develop a deep understanding of how Affirm’s offerings integrate with partner products.
  • Help navigate compliance and regulatory frameworks for new product launches.
  • Define KPIs and growth targets to measure partnership success.
  • Partner with enablement teams to develop marketing and sales training strategies.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in banking, fintech, payments, or another high-growth startup in a complex vertical.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proposals, memos, emails, and presentations.
  • Ability to build a new business line from the ground up and manage partner pipelines.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand financial models and evaluate business performance.
  • Proven ability to lead high-stakes deals end-to-end, including sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and closing.
  • Excellent customer and partnership relationship management skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build relationships internally and with external partners.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
