Description

  • Lead, manage, coach, and develop a regional sales team to achieve and exceed revenue and activity targets.
  • Set, monitor, and review individual and team performance metrics, quotas, and sales forecasts.
  • Recruit, interview, onboard, and retain sales talent to strengthen the regional team.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies and plans aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Coach the team on sales methodologies, negotiation, strategic account management, and deal execution.
  • Conduct pipeline and deal reviews, remove roadblocks, and provide ongoing performance feedback.
  • Manage select high-value strategic accounts and close business within the region.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, brokers, and channel partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to share market feedback and improve customer outcomes.
  • Represent the company at industry events and serve as a brand ambassador across phone, virtual, and in-person interactions.

Requirements

  • Must reside in Arizona or Idaho to be considered for the position.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA in Business is preferred but not required.
  • 5-10 years of B2B sales experience or business-to-consumer service experience.
  • 5-10 years of sales management experience leading regional teams with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience selling employee benefits is preferred.
  • Experience in business development, customer engagement, or account management is an advantage.
  • Deep knowledge of benefits administration, including FSA, HSA, and COBRA administration.
  • Proficiency in sales methodologies such as Challenger Sale, SPIN Selling, or Sandler Selling.
  • Strong understanding of market trends, competitors, pricing, and regulatory changes in the benefits space.
  • Experience with forecasting, budgeting, pipeline management, P&L concepts, and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships in a B2B environment.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
