Description

  • Facilitate communication with client project stakeholders about project status and recommendations.
  • Develop efficient, performant, testable, scalable, secure client code.
  • Participate in planning and estimation using project methods and tools.
  • Gather requirements and present developed features to clients.
  • Execute complex work within the current methodology and quality standards.
  • Enhance and expand automation frameworks and testing practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, automation coverage, and tool selection.
  • Lead the design, oversight, and execution of automated test cases for high-impact testing.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand user pain points and iterate on solutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and governance activities.
  • Mentor others through Communities of Practice or project teams and support growth of technical capabilities.
  • Drive project delivery independently from conceptualization through deployment within defined architecture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in QA and automation testing.
  • Experience with remote device testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
  • Experience with Angular testing, including unit testing, UX design, Figma, monorepos, and state management using ngRx.
  • Experience with Java, AWS services such as Lambda and SQS, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong API automation experience and familiarity with frameworks such as Playwright and Cypress.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON validation.
  • Strong experience with Karate Framework for API automation.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Playwright for web UI automation.
  • Solid iOS automation experience, with Appium preferred.
  • Proficiency with GitHub, branching strategies, code reviews, coding standards, and code deployment.
  • Experience evaluating and recommending solutions based on complex proof of concepts.
  • Ability to design and implement a scalable automation framework using Java and Angular.
  • Familiarity with test-driven development.
  • Deep knowledge of databases and SQL for complex data validation and backend testing.
  • Proficiency with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • CI/CD integration experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or DevOps tools.
  • Preferred experience in performance and load testing with tools like LoadRunner or JMeter.
  • Preferred history of driving process improvements and innovation that improve quality, reduce costs, and increase team efficiency.
  • Strong ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform well under pressure.
