Description

  • Develop Python scripts to collect, transform, and automate vulnerability management data workflows.
  • Integrate with REST APIs and handle JSON, CSV, authentication tokens, pagination, error handling, and scheduled jobs.
  • Work with Qualys API or comparable vulnerability management APIs to retrieve and manage security data.
  • Build dashboards and reports using Power BI, Grafana, Looker Studio, Excel/Power Query, or similar tools.
  • Support vulnerability management reporting by using metrics such as CVSS, asset inventory, and remediation workflows.
  • Apply knowledge of cloud security, exposure management, and vulnerability correlation where applicable.
  • Use understanding of Windows, Linux, networking, TLS, DNS, HTTP headers, and endpoint security controls to support analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Follow secure coding practices, handle secrets appropriately, and maintain documentation and Git-based workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong Python scripting experience.
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, CSV, authentication tokens, pagination, error handling, and scheduled jobs.
  • Experience with Qualys API or a comparable vulnerability management API.
  • Working knowledge of vulnerability management metrics, CVSS, asset inventory, and remediation workflows.
  • Experience building dashboards using Power BI, Grafana, Looker Studio, Excel/Power Query, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Wiz, cloud security posture management, exposure management, or vulnerability correlation is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Linux, networking, TLS, DNS, HTTP headers, and endpoint security controls.
  • Familiarity with secure coding, secrets handling, Git, and documentation.
