Description

  • Implement complex backend application components based on design specifications while following coding standards and development methodologies.
  • Decompose problems into clear software and UX design actions and translate them into implementable tasks.
  • Write unit-tested, maintainable code and participate in debugging and troubleshooting production issues.
  • Design, develop, and optimize services to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, QA, UX) to meet business needs and deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Participate in team planning sessions and daily scrum meetings, and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
  • Act as a self-starter: own deliverables, be organized, and provide innovative solutions to technical challenges.
  • Support and improve CI/CD workflows and deployment practices.
  • Contribute to API design and security, including token management and access control.
  • Provide timely deliverables and communicate progress and issues clearly to the team.

Requirements

  • 7+ years development experience with Python and Java and working knowledge of RESTful APIs and databases.
  • Experience with Java/Kotlin and Spring Framework, including Spring Boot.
  • Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Git, Bash, Linux, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle Cloud).
  • Experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
  • Knowledge of API security frameworks and token management (OAuth, JWT) and user access control.
  • Understanding and experience implementing caching strategies (Redis, Memcache).
  • Experience working in agile environments; strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Front-end development skills are a plus; microservices experience is nice to have; Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
