Description

  • Implement backend features for the AI Governance product area, including event normalization utilities, storage enhancements, API endpoints, export support, and registry integrations.
  • Build and maintain automated test coverage to support reliable and safe releases.
  • Collaborate with senior and staff engineers to deliver maintainable solutions aligned with product direction and release goals.
  • Work asynchronously with cross-functional partners and adjacent engineering teams to keep delivery moving across related governance and AI efforts.
  • Take ownership of scoped work, provide clear status updates, and follow through on commitments in a fast-moving product area.
  • Develop your understanding of AI governance, agent-related architecture, and integration patterns through hands-on delivery.
  • Contribute to visibility and policy-control capabilities that help customers monitor AI usage and meet compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated backend development experience building and shipping production features.
  • Proficiency with Ruby on Rails and solid fundamentals in PostgreSQL.
  • Experience building and maintaining automated test coverage with RSpec or an equivalent testing framework.
  • Clear written communication skills for an asynchronous team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive scoped work through completion and follow through on commitments.
  • Experience with, or exposure to, audit event systems, telemetry pipelines, or compliance-focused tooling.
  • Ability to learn new technical domains and apply that knowledge to product development.
  • Additional experience with GraphQL APIs, event-driven architecture patterns, Python, or data-focused databases such as ClickHouse is preferred.
