Description

  • Initiate, build, and maintain executive-level relationships across assigned territories.
  • Identify, build, and cultivate champions within each target account.
  • Align with executives on bespoke growth strategies for prospect accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to maximize value during discovery, validation, and sales execution.
  • Generate new pipeline through inbound leads, team prospecting, research, prospecting, and cold calling.
  • Cultivate access to prospect buying committees and map prospect organizations.
  • Build opportunity briefs and recommend integrated software and service solutions for long-term client needs.
  • Develop and maintain a sufficient pipeline of opportunities to exceed quota.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and up-to-date pipeline information.
  • Lead the full sales cycle, including proposals, scoping, pricing, and contract negotiations.
  • Work with Account Management to support customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Requirements

  • 15 years of Martech/ESP enterprise sales experience.
  • Experience engaging VP- and executive-level contacts within target accounts.
  • Ability to strategically plan territory and account execution playbooks.
  • Experience collaborating across a broad internal supporting ecosystem.
  • Experience selling SaaS platforms to marketing and information technology teams.
  • Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP), Email Service Providers (ESP), BI & Analytics, Omni-Channel Orchestration, Web/Email Personalization, or customer experience platforms is preferred.
  • Strong ability to research prospects and use strategic prospecting methods, including cold calling.
  • Experience managing pipeline, forecasting, and revenue accountability.
  • Experience driving proposals, pricing, scoping, and contract negotiations.
  • Ability to work with large enterprise customers, especially organizations above $10B in topline revenue.
