Description

  • Convert inbound leads into new business by engaging prospective clients and turning insurance requests into customers.
  • Assess prospective clients’ needs and recommend appropriate commercial coverages.
  • Support clients from quote through sale while meeting service timelines and ensuring a smooth experience.
  • Explain insurance products and policy coverage clearly, translating complex concepts into simple terms for clients.
  • Recommend process improvements that enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, insurance companies, and internal teammates to achieve shared goals.
  • Provide weekly flow updates to support program and pricing improvements.

Requirements

  • Valid BC Level 2 or Level 3 insurance license.
  • 3+ years of commercial broking experience.
  • RIBO license is a definite asset.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of inbound leads and consistently convert them into clients.
  • Proven ability to meet targets with strong sales drive and persistence.
  • Experience using a BMS or other digital tools to streamline workflows and manage high-volume client data.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and simply to clients.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and flexibility in managing multiple clients at once.
  • Passion for sales and delivering an exceptional client experience.

  • Total cash compensation including OTE ranges from $58,000 to $68,000 at the Associate level, $68,000 to $92,000 at the Intermediate level, and $78,000 to $110,000 at the Senior level.
