Description

  • Define and own the AI and automation roadmap for the pre-sales team.
  • Design, build, and deploy AI agents and automations for pre-sales workflows.
  • Map the end-to-end pre-sales process to identify high-leverage automation opportunities.
  • Automate and accelerate RFP/RFI responses and security and compliance questionnaires.
  • Build tools that improve technical discovery, demo preparation, and POC execution.
  • Integrate AI tools with CRM, proposal, and knowledge management systems.
  • Set technical standards and best practices for AI tooling across the pre-sales function.
  • Mentor other GTM Engineers and serve as a technical reference for the team.
  • Partner with Solutions Engineering and Sales leadership to align automation priorities with business goals.
  • Prototype solutions quickly, test them with Solutions Engineers, and iterate based on real usage.
  • Monitor automation performance and continuously optimize for reliability and business impact.
  • Partner with Marketing to support and automate inbound lead handling.
  • Present progress, results, and roadmap decisions to leadership.

Requirements

  • Fluent English.
  • 5+ years of experience in GTM Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or similar technical-commercial hybrid roles.
  • Proven track record of leading or owning automation or AI initiatives end-to-end.
  • Hands-on experience building automations and AI agents using tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make, custom scripts, or LLM APIs.
  • Strong understanding of pre-sales workflows, including discovery, demos, RFPs, and POCs.
  • Comfort working with APIs and integrations.
  • Proficiency with CRM and proposal or knowledge management tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Strong coding skills in Python and JavaScript to build and maintain custom integrations.
  • Experience mentoring other engineers or setting technical direction for a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with non-technical and senior stakeholders.
  • Self-starter mindset with comfort navigating ambiguity and fast-changing priorities.
