Description

  • Partner with account executives to prioritize strategic opportunities and serve as the technical lead on complex client engagements.
  • Move clients from strategy to live solutions through fast AI prototyping using Cognite Atlas AI™ and Cognite Data Fusion®.
  • Lead the design and implementation of industrial agents and automate complex industrial workflows.
  • Run use case workshops and briefings, translating functional and non-functional requirements into deliverable high-level use cases.
  • Deliver client-focused demos and reference architectures that demonstrate the ROI of Industrial AI.
  • Act as a bridge between the field and Cognite’s Product organization by translating deployment learnings into product requirements and best practices.
  • Design scalable architectures that unify siloed IT/OT/ET data into a single source of truth.
  • Build end-to-end prototypes integrating GenAI components, CDF data models, and legacy customer systems.
  • Distill complex technical solutions into compelling narratives for both engineers and C-level executives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in forward deployed engineering or pre-sales engineering roles, ideally in enterprise SaaS, cloud platforms, or industrial software companies.
  • Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Machine Learning.
  • Strong foundation in Python and deep understanding of the GenAI landscape, including embeddings, RAG, and prompt chaining.
  • Experience building with LLMs such as Gemini, Claude, or GPT-4.
  • Deep understanding of the agentic AI landscape and experience creating industrial agents.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.
  • Education or experience in the industrial space, such as Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, or Control System Engineering (preferred).
  • Previous customer-facing or sales experience (preferred).
  • Experience working with real-world industrial data challenges across energy, oil and gas, chemicals, life sciences, or discrete industries (preferred).
