Description

Build and scale the finance function from the ground up, including financial reporting, FP&A, and KPI tracking.
Lead the implementation and optimization of NetSuite, Salesforce, and field service tools to unify accounting and operating data.
Manage month-end close and deliver timely, accurate financial statements.
Provide clear financial updates and strategic communication to the CEO and board.
Improve invoicing speed, accounting discipline, and process consistency across the organization.
Mentor and coach the accounting team to strengthen execution and accountability.
Lead post-LOI acquisition integration efforts across acquired businesses.
Coordinate with integration managers to align financial and operational processes during M&A integration.
Support growth in a fragmented, multi-entity environment with scalable finance operations.

Requirements

Deep experience as a CFO in a private equity-backed environment.
Proven experience with buy-and-build dynamics, fast growth pressures, board reporting, and investor communications.
Hands-on leadership style with the ability to build systems and processes from scratch.
Experience spearheading NetSuite implementation.
Experience building FP&A capabilities from the ground up.
Ability to enforce process discipline across a fragmented, multi-entity accounting landscape.
Ability to serve as a strategic partner to the CEO.
Experience coaching and scaling a dispersed finance team.
Houston, TX preferred, with the role offered remotely.
Compensation of $375,000 - $475,000 a year.
