Description

  • Identify new business opportunities and expand NRI’s footprint within existing accounts.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Microsoft account teams and strategic manufacturing partners.
  • Partner with Microsoft and other NRI resources during the sales process for major enterprise accounts.
  • Identify, qualify, and source leads and sales opportunities, then close deals.
  • Assess account potential, profile decision-makers, and gather customer requirements.
  • Qualify opportunities, set customer expectations, and negotiate contracts, deliverables, and pricing.
  • Coordinate the sales process with Sales Engineers, Deployment teams, and Project Managers.
  • Communicate directly with customers to recommend high-level solutions and build rapport.
  • Set meetings and deliver product and service demonstrations to prospective customers.
  • Participate in sales meetings and training to improve performance and departmental expertise.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in a sales or account management role.
  • Previous Microsoft sales experience preferred, including knowledge of Office 365, EMS, Azure, and related offerings.
  • Experience positioning and closing professional services opportunities.
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM application.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Closed at least 5 seven-figure contracts with new accounts preferred.
  • Demonstrated record of consistently exceeding sales goals preferred.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts, deliverables, and price.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex technology to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple requests concurrently.
  • Understanding of cloud computing and its business benefits preferred.
  • Experience with information technology and services preferred.
