Description

  • Partner with Account Executives to drive account growth and retention.
  • Support customer engagement through onsite visits, project discovery, and ongoing communication when appropriate.
  • Identify and address potential manufacturing challenges, including design for manufacturability (DFM).
  • Stay informed about customer projects and initiatives to ensure alignment with Xometry’s capabilities.
  • Gather customer insights and feedback to inform sales strategies.
  • Assist pre-sales engineering with knowledge gathering and the development of accurate, competitive quotes.
  • Combine customer, partner, and internal system knowledge to respond quickly to customer needs and move projects to delivery.
  • Provide project management and oversight for complex opportunities.
  • Own 3-5 major projects from discovery through execution.
  • Create, organize, and present cost breakdowns and statements of work.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in automotive manufacturing and program management roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field required.
  • Experience using Xometry’s services from a customer perspective; partner perspective is a plus.
  • Deep familiarity with the methods, materials, culture, and products of companies such as Lucid, Rivian, Tesla, Ford, and GM, and their suppliers/partners.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, including drawings and GD&T.
  • Strong experience in injection molding required; stamping, castings, forgings, and other production methods are a plus.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP/PPAP, and related industry certifications and practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, including in remote/digital environments.
  • Ability to travel to customer and/or partner sites as needed, typically 25%-35%.
  • Mountain or Pacific time zone preferred.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
