Description

  • Gather and analyze counterparty data, financials, risk controls, and approval materials as part of due diligence.
  • Design secured and over-collateralized lending structures, including covenants, waterfalls, and margin frameworks.
  • Monitor portfolio exposures, limits, collateral, and early-warning indicators, and recommend actions when needed.
  • Support modeling and structured solutions monitoring using modern tooling.
  • Coordinate with counterparties by scheduling and leading parts of meetings, managing data rooms, and following up on action items.
  • Contribute to term sheets, investment committee decks, performance updates, and loan documentation.
  • Review legal terms related to security, covenants, remedies, and margining to align risk and return objectives.
  • Propose new structures, pricing ideas, and ways to maximize opportunities within risk appetite.
  • Maintain diligence files, checklists, dashboards, trackers, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Work closely with the Head of Investments and the broader investment team in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in investment banking, structured lending, credit, treasury, risk, or buy-side roles.
  • Direct experience in structured credit, margin lending, repo, or collateralized lending is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform end-to-end counterparty due diligence, including financials, liquidity, leverage, concentration, collateral analysis, covenants, and early-warning indicators.
  • Familiarity with term sheets, security and collateral packages, covenants, margining, and basics of ISDA/CSA, GMRA/GMSLA, or loan agreements.
  • Practical experience with stress and scenario analysis, sensitivities, and simple VaR or limit frameworks.
  • Experience using modern tooling and AI for modeling scenarios.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft concise IC memos, redlines, and counterparty communications.
  • Ability to run parts of meetings, chase deliverables, and negotiate factual points professionally.
  • CFA, FRM, or an equivalent professional path in progress.
  • High-ownership, low-ego mindset and the ability to work reliably under time pressure.
  • Interest in crypto is welcomed; prior crypto experience is not required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Nice to have: previous experience in securitization, repo, or margin-based lending frameworks.
  • Nice to have: exposure to collateral and margin frameworks within traditional financial services.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with Bitcoin.
  • Nice to have: coding ability or experience with modern data modeling tools.
