Description

  • Architect and execute manual and automated test plans and test cases to validate feature functionality and system reliability.
  • Design and implement end-to-end UI and API integration tests using the company’s proprietary testing framework.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites to detect regressions and support faster release cycles.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to review requirements, assess designs, and improve testability early in the development process.
  • Triage, document, and track defects, including reproduction steps, impact assessments, and remediation recommendations.
  • Prepare concise test reports and risk analyses for stakeholders, highlighting critical issues and prioritization needs.
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives to support quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Perform regression and integration testing after code changes to verify fixes and prevent unintended side effects.
  • Maintain organized, versioned QA artifacts such as test plans, test cases, scripts, and results for audits and knowledge sharing.
  • Research and adopt new QA best practices, tools, and methodologies to improve testing effectiveness and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in QA or data analytics, including 3+ years in a dedicated QA role.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience defining test strategy, designing test plans and test cases, and tracking coverage and metrics.
  • Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Jest, Supertest, Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
  • Experience integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and Bash scripting; Python or another scripting language is a plus.
  • Solid experience with RESTful and/or gRPC API testing, including service virtualization and mocking.
  • Expertise in PostgreSQL and SQL testing, including complex queries for data integrity validation.
  • Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or Locust.
  • Working knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS, as well as Azure App Services and DevOps pipelines.
  • Comfort with validating infrastructure as code using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep and working in Docker/Kubernetes environments.
  • Familiarity with building, deploying, and automating test runs in modern CI/CD pipelines and troubleshooting flaky tests or pipeline failures.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Preferred experience in AI, FinTech, or Payments.
  • Preferred familiarity with security testing basics, including OWASP Top 10.
  • Preferred mentoring or leadership experience.
