Description

  • Conduct or direct impartial investigations into policy, code of conduct, employee misconduct, and other workplace concerns.
  • Develop investigation strategies, interview relevant parties, gather evidence, and document findings.
  • Prepare clear investigative reports and communicate findings, risk implications, and recommendations.
  • Recommend corrective or preventive actions when trends or systemic issues are identified.
  • Partner with HR, Accountability and Safeguarding, Finance, General Counsel, and other leaders on sensitive matters.
  • Advise leaders on employee relations best practices, investigation protocols, and responses to reported concerns.
  • Review and recommend updates to policies, procedures, controls, and investigative protocols.
  • Identify emerging employee relations and compliance risks and coordinate mitigation with stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver training on ethics, internal reporting, code of conduct expectations, and investigation processes.
  • Coordinate with external agencies or law enforcement when necessary and appropriate.

Requirements

  • Mature and personal Christian faith.
  • Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief.
  • Ability to affirm or acknowledge World Relief’s Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity, and the National Association of Evangelicals' For the Health of The Nation document.
  • Exceptional ability to maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive information with sound judgment.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws, regulations, and internal policies relevant to employee relations and investigations.
  • Ability to adapt to organizational needs and operate effectively in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related business software.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to navigate sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion (preferred).
  • Strong investigative, fact-finding, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities (preferred).
  • Strong organization and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively (preferred).
