Description

  • Support daily healthcare administrative and operational tasks across the home care business.
  • Coordinate prior authorization documentation with physicians and healthcare providers.
  • Manage 485 certifications and Plan of Care renewals.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain Medicaid compliance and patient documentation in the EMR system.
  • Track staff licenses, TB tests, certifications, and expiration dates, and follow up on renewals.
  • Schedule supervisory visits with RN supervisors.
  • Provide general administrative support, including file organization, offer letters, interview scheduling, and virtual orientation sessions.
  • Answer inbound calls, route urgent concerns, and provide professional customer service.
  • Make warm outbound calls to prospective clients, follow up with leads, and schedule appointments and discovery calls.
  • Assist with basic social media posting and other marketing-related administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with a clear, professional speaking voice and minimal accent.
  • Previous experience in a home care agency, healthcare office, or healthcare administrative environment is highly preferred.
  • Experience handling prior authorizations, compliance documentation, medical records, and healthcare operations.
  • Professional phone etiquette for both inbound and warm outbound calls.
  • Comfort with appointment scheduling, lead follow-up, and customer service.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage recurring responsibilities reliably.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
  • Experience using EMR/EHR systems, with Generations Home Care EMR as a strong advantage.
  • Comfortable using DocuSign, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other administrative tools.
  • Must be able to provide an NBI Clearance and/or Local Police Clearance before onboarding.
  • Must be available to attend video meetings with camera on when required.
  • Must have a reliable laptop or desktop computer, stable high-speed internet of at least 25 Mbps, a noise-canceling headset, a working webcam, and a quiet professional workspace.
