Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain integrations between internal applications and external platforms.
  • Create modular integration frameworks, reusable SDKs, and microservices for common integration patterns.
  • Collaborate with product and AI engineers to define integration architectures aligned with business needs.
  • Document integration workflows to support stability, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues to maintain uptime and performance.
  • Automate cross-system workflows and reduce manual data processing.
  • Implement security, authentication, and data consistency across applications.
  • Identify improvements to integration speed, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Deliver products from concept to production with minimal guidance while balancing speed, stability, scalability, and security.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as an Integrations Engineer, Backend Developer, or Full Stack Engineer working with API-based systems.
  • Experience with the MERN stack: MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js.
  • Proficiency with REST, GraphQL, webhooks, OAuth, and other API communication protocols.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript; Python experience is preferred.
  • Ability to quickly understand, interpret, and implement third-party API documentation.
  • Experience integrating B2B SaaS tools such as Meta, ServiceNow, Clio, HubSpot, or healthcare APIs.
  • Familiarity with asynchronous data flows, error handling, and message queues such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
  • Experience with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to large-scale web platforms and modern web technologies.
  • Familiarity with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony, and tools such as Cursor AI.
  • Immediate availability is preferred; the role is an independent contractor agreement position.
