Description

  • Research, evaluate, and prioritize tradeshows, conferences, and industry events aligned with the ideal customer profile and revenue goals.
  • Own and maintain a rolling 12-month event calendar.
  • Negotiate sponsorships, booth space, speaking opportunities, and vendor or venue contracts.
  • Plan and execute events end to end, including booth design, shipping, swag, collateral, lead capture, badge scanners, AV, catering, hotel blocks, and travel logistics.
  • Serve as the on-site point of contact at every event, including booth setup, teardown, and real-time troubleshooting.
  • Brief attending team members on goals, talking points, target accounts, and event logistics.
  • Partner with sales to book pre-show meetings, run on-site dinners and customer events, and ensure leads are captured and followed up quickly.
  • Work with marketing on pre- and post-event campaigns, including email outreach, landing pages, paid promotion, and social media.
  • Manage the full event budget, track costs, forecast spend, and make trade-off decisions as priorities change.
  • Define event KPIs and produce post-event reports that measure leads, meetings, pipeline, ROI, and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or event coordination, ideally in B2B or tech.
  • Experience organizing events end to end, even at smaller scale.
  • Experience managing an events budget and making trade-offs to maximize ROI.
  • Ability to define KPIs and build reports tied to pipeline and revenue.
  • Strong interest in AI and demonstrated use of AI tools or workflows to improve event-marketing work; this is required.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot on the CRM side.
  • Strong project management skills and comfort managing timelines, budgets, vendors, and multiple moving pieces.
  • Comfort negotiating with vendors and event organizers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 30% to 50% during peak seasons across North America, with potential European travel.
  • Must be based in the US or Canada and live within roughly an hour of a major airport hub with strong direct flight access.
  • Must have the right to work in the country of residence; no visa sponsorship is available.
  • Nice to have experience with event tools such as Cvent, Splash, Bizzabo, or Goldcast.
  • Nice to have experience with international events or vendors.
  • Nice to have background in B2B SaaS or a similar fast-paced tech environment.
