Description

  • Research, evaluate, and prioritize tradeshows, conferences, and industry events that align with ICP and revenue goals.
  • Own and maintain a rolling 12-month event calendar.
  • Negotiate sponsorships, booth space, speaking slots, and vendor and venue contracts.
  • Plan and execute events end to end, including booth design, shipping, swag, collateral, lead capture, scanners, AV, catering, hotel blocks, and travel.
  • Serve as the on-site point of contact, including booth setup, teardown, and real-time troubleshooting at every event.
  • Brief attending team members on objectives, talking points, target accounts, and logistics.
  • Partner with sales to book pre-show meetings, run dinners and customer events on-site, and ensure lead capture and follow-up.
  • Work with marketing on pre- and post-event campaigns, including email outreach, landing pages, paid promotion, and social media.
  • Manage event budgets, track spend, forecast costs, and make trade-off decisions when priorities shift.
  • Define event KPIs and produce post-event reports on leads, meetings, pipeline, ROI, and performance improvements.

Requirements

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or event coordination, ideally in B2B or tech.
  • Proven experience organizing events end to end, even at smaller scale.
  • Experience managing an events budget and tracking spend to maximize ROI.
  • Ability to define KPIs and build reports that connect event activity to pipeline and revenue.
  • Strong, demonstrated use of AI in event marketing workflows; this is a must-have requirement.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot on the CRM side.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage timelines, budgets, vendors, and multiple moving pieces.
  • Comfort negotiating with vendors and event organizers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 30% to 50% during peak seasons across North America, with potential European travel.
  • Must be based in the US or Canada, live within roughly an hour of a major airport hub with frequent direct flights, and have the right to work in the country of residence; no visa sponsorship is available.
  • Nice to have experience with event tools such as Cvent, Splash, Bizzabo, or Goldcast.
  • Nice to have experience working with international events or vendors.
  • Nice to have background in B2B SaaS or a similar fast-paced tech environment.
