Description

  • Collect and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, uncover insights, and support leadership decision-making.
  • Strategize and identify opportunities to locate and collect new data relevant to mission needs.
  • Explore, mine, clean, and interpret data to determine its meaning and operational value.
  • Communicate data findings, conclusions, and recommendations clearly to customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineering and research and development teams to improve data management and analytics workflows, systems, and best practices.
  • Identify and recommend new uses for existing data sources and design, modify, and build new data processes.
  • Develop and enhance software and data handling capabilities to access and process data more efficiently.
  • Conduct scalable data research on and off the cloud and build large, complex data sets.
  • Deliver mission products within 24 to 72 hours to support urgent operational needs such as humanitarian assistance, disaster relief, and economic crisis monitoring.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in data science with a focus on geospatial data analysis.
  • Experience conducting statistical modeling, experimental design, and validation of predictive models.
  • Experience using data visualization tools to deliver interactive products to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven experience supporting military tactical operations.
  • Ability to perform effectively in high-operational environments.
  • Experience with non-pixel, non-semantic sensor data such as AIS, ADS-B, and ADINT.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Must reside in the contiguous United States.
  • Must be willing to be on call for occasional weekend requirements.
  • Must be a W2 employee of GeoDelphi, Inc. and no third-party applications are accepted.
  • Experience with Geographic Information Systems such as QGIS or ArcPro is preferred.
  • Experience with Python geospatial data analysis tools such as GeoPandas is preferred.
  • Knowledge of intelligence, collection management, targeting, geospatial, and/or imagery analysis is preferred.
  • Specialized training or certification in intelligence collection and analysis, including GEOINT Professional Certification or Activity-Based Intelligence Certification, is preferred.
