Description

  • Collect and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends and produce actionable insights.
  • Explore, mine, clean, and interpret data to uncover hidden activities and opportunities.
  • Communicate findings, conclusions, and recommendations to customer and leadership stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to improve data management and analytics workflows.
  • Design, modify, and build new data processes and recommend new uses for existing data sources.
  • Implement software enhancements to access and handle data more efficiently.
  • Conduct scalable data research on and off the cloud.
  • Build large and complex data sets.
  • Deliver products within 24 to 72 hours to support time-sensitive missions.
  • Support tactical, humanitarian, economic, and other operational use cases with timely analysis.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data science with a focus on geospatial data analysis.
  • Experience conducting statistical modeling, experimental design, and predictive model testing/validation.
  • Experience with data visualization tools to create interactive, mission-critical products.
  • Proven experience supporting military tactical operations.
  • Ability to perform effectively in high operational environments.
  • Experience working with non-pixel, non-semantic sensor data such as AIS, ADS-B, and ADINT.
  • Experience with GIS tools such as QGIS or ArcPro (preferred).
  • Experience with Python geospatial analysis tools such as GeoPandas (preferred).
  • Knowledge of intelligence, collection management, targeting, geospatial analysis, or imagery analysis (preferred).
  • Specialized training or certification such as GEOINT Professional Certification or Activity-Based Intelligence Certification (preferred).
  • Must be a US citizen and reside in the contiguous United States.
  • Must be a W2 employee of GeoDelphi, Inc. and no third-party applications are accepted.
  • Must be willing to be on call for occasional weekend requirements.
