Description

  • Perform copy-editing, quality control, transcreation, and on-demand translation tasks on assigned projects and accounts.
  • Provide lead support for assigned projects or accounts and help coordinate translator activities.
  • Manage and maintain language assets such as glossaries, style guides, and work instructions to required quality standards.
  • Handle project-related queries and ensure smooth communication on terminology and language issues.
  • Test, qualify, and support new freelancers and vendors as needed.
  • Train internal linguists and new or existing freelancers based on account and company needs.
  • Interact with clients on linguistic matters as required.
  • Participate in developing improved working processes.
  • Meet or exceed productivity KPI targets.
  • Help ensure the language process is followed by the project team and project deadlines are met.

Requirements

  • University degree in Translation, Applied Languages, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a translator and/or reviewer.
  • Native-level fluency in Hebrew.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience translating content such as mobile apps, search engines, IT consumer products, entertainment, marketing, software UI, and websites.
  • Excellent knowledge of terminology in IT consumer products, social media, entertainment, and at least two subject matters.
  • Thorough understanding of the localization process.
  • Experience with standard software such as Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with CAT tools such as XTM and SDL Studio.
  • Experience with issue tracking and query management tools such as JIRA.
  • Ability to learn new localization tools and applications quickly.
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and within a virtual team.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to train others, give constructive feedback, and communicate positively with customers at various levels.
