Description

  • Lead a full-stack engineering team and guide day-to-day technical execution.
  • Provide technical mentorship and support career development for team members.
  • Define and enforce development, testing, and CI/CD standards to keep systems stable and maintainable.
  • Partner with Product, Operations, and Design leaders to turn business needs into technical roadmaps.
  • Develop, deliver, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software solutions with cross-functional partners.
  • Own incident response, production troubleshooting, and post-mortem writing.
  • Work in a collaborative agile environment focused on productivity and teamwork.
  • Help create a culture that supports wellbeing, psychological safety, and high performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Tech Lead or other leadership/management capacity.
  • Experience architecting modern web and mobile applications and working with cloud-based architectures.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Python.
  • Prior experience with Kotlin, Golang, or Java, microservices, and distributed systems is mandatory.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful web services, API design, mocks, and HTTP best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redis.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate technical roadmaps to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • This role is only open to candidates in Portugal and can be performed remotely from anywhere in the country.
