Description

  • Source and originate debt and equity placement opportunities with borrowers, lenders, investors, and intermediaries.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, lenders, investors, sponsors, and other market participants.
  • Lead the full capital strategy process, including lender sourcing, structuring capital stacks, underwriting, and negotiating term sheets.
  • Prepare marketing collateral and package transactions for lender and investor review.
  • Manage all parties and coordinate transaction execution through closing.
  • Provide CRE capital markets guidance using market insights, lender program criteria, and risk considerations.
  • Use technology, workflow automation, and data-driven tools to improve screening, packaging, and execution efficiency.
  • Support high transaction volume with a professional and repeatable operating process.
  • Continue hands-on support through the closing of transactions.
  • Drive consistent deal origination and grow a repeatable book of institutional-grade business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial real estate capital markets on the debt side.
  • Proven track record closing institutional-level transactions at scale, including individual deal sizes of $10M+ and annual volume of $20M+.
  • Fluency in capital stack structuring, term sheet negotiation, underwriting, and lender program criteria.
  • Ability to lead capital strategy end to end, including lender sourcing, structuring, packaging, term sheet negotiation, and closing.
  • Experience building a capital markets organization or book of business from scratch is preferred.
  • Experience with automated workflow platforms or data-driven deal screening tools is preferred.
  • Experience raising programmatic capital or creating lender products, not only deal-by-deal syndication, is preferred.
  • Independent contractor status required.
  • Remote work available (#LI-Remote).

Benefits

  • Commission-based compensation with no base salary.
  • Typical annualized earnings range from $138,000 to $220,000, with higher earnings possible for top-quartile performers.
  • Pay is based on a fixed percentage of net revenue collected on every funded deal.
  • Independent contractor arrangement.
  • CRM access and pipeline tools provided for platform enablement support.
