Description

  • Schedule quality demos for the sales team by identifying, researching, and contacting potential customers.
  • Hit or exceed a monthly quota while serving as the first point of contact for potential clients.
  • Make 60+ outbound cold calls and customized emails per day using sales enablement tools.
  • Prospect quality contacts and accounts that are a strong fit for the Cision platform.
  • Partner with sales representatives to move opportunities forward.
  • Collect market data before and during outreach to understand prospect needs and communicate them to the sales team.
  • Become knowledgeable about Cision products, services, buyer types, and sales tools.
  • Expand knowledge of Cision’s broader sales methodology and sales cycle.

Requirements

  • A 4-year degree from an accredited college.
  • A passion for starting or growing a career in sales.
  • An interest in moving into a consultative sales role within a software company.
  • Relentless curiosity and a strong desire to learn.
  • Self-motivation, hunger, and a strong work ethic.
  • Confidence managing high-volume pipelines in dynamic, fast-changing environments.
  • Positivity and a willingness to uplift and share knowledge with the team.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, New Voice Media, Microsoft Outlook, and LinkedIn is expected as part of the role's toolset.
  • Ability to work in high-volume outbound prospecting, including 60+ calls and customized emails per day.
