Description

  • Monitor healthcare utilization trends and identify key drivers of quality and cost outcomes, including areas such as home care, transportation, specialists, and facilities.
  • Partner with physician, clinical, operational, and other stakeholders to translate data insights into actionable decisions.
  • Develop clear, professional-grade reports and visualizations that support business intelligence and an effective user experience.
  • Design report mockups with business stakeholders and iterate to deliver final visual solutions.
  • Communicate how business and clinical logic is applied to KPIs, metrics, and operational activities.
  • Create visual information delivery reports that improve how data is presented, delivered, and consumed by clinical and operational staff and leaders.
  • Build trusted relationships with business partners.
  • Partner with the Business Information Management function to design semantic layers, data marts, and foundational information structures for Power BI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical discipline or related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Actuarial certification is a strong plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years specializing in healthcare economics or actuarial-based analytics with hands-on medical claims experience.
  • Experience in HEDIS or similar quality measurement is a strong plus.
  • Experience leveraging AI is a strong plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with business information architecture, business metric governance, metric cataloging, and data dictionaries.
  • Minimum of 7 years of analytics experience leveraging SQL/Databricks to convert business information into visualizations, reports, and business-facing delivery solutions.
  • Experience translating complex healthcare economics and claims data into meaningful insights for clinical and operational decision-making.
