Description

  • Lead end-to-end development of the trading terminal and make key decisions on architecture, stack, code quality, and release planning.
  • Build the real-time trading UI in React/Next.js, including market discovery, analytics dashboards, live charts, order entry, position tracking, and strategy tooling.
  • Design and develop backend APIs in Node.js or Python for market data aggregation, trade routing, portfolio/P&L tracking, and user management.
  • Implement WebSocket infrastructure to stream live odds, order book depth, in-play updates, and mark-to-market data with sub-second latency.
  • Integrate prediction market and sportsbook data sources such as Polymarket and Kalshi, normalizing data and enabling cross-platform trade execution.
  • Build the on-chain transaction layer, including wallet integration, order signing, USDC settlement, and transaction status monitoring on Polygon.
  • Create the automation engine UI for rule-based strategy configuration, including entry/exit triggers, position sizing, and multi-leg hedging.
  • Set up CI/CD, testing, monitoring, observability, and deployment workflows using modern tooling and cloud infrastructure.
  • Optimize performance across the product, including bundle size, rendering efficiency, WebSocket handling, API latency, and caching.
  • Recruit, mentor, and onboard engineers as the team grows while establishing code review and documentation practices.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of full stack engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a lead or senior role delivering products end to end.
  • Advanced React experience, with Next.js preferred, and strong experience with complex state management tools such as Zustand or Redux.
  • Experience building real-time, data-intensive user interfaces with WebSockets and performance optimization.
  • Strong backend experience in Node.js frameworks such as Express or Fastify, or Python frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
  • Experience designing RESTful APIs, authentication flows using JWT or OAuth, rate limiting, and horizontally scalable services.
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or BullMQ.
  • Experience with AWS or GCP, Docker, CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, and monitoring/observability tools.
  • Strong UI/UX sensibility for building compact, trader-friendly interfaces similar to Bloomberg or TradingView.
  • Excellent structured English communication skills and the ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience with Web3/blockchain integration, including ethers.js, wallet connectors, on-chain transactions, or crypto/fintech products.
  • Preferred experience with charting and data visualization libraries such as TradingView Lightweight Charts, D3, or Recharts.
