Description

  • Own end-to-end delivery from requirement gathering through design, estimation, implementation, testing, deployment, observation, and iteration.
  • Design and deliver REST APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.
  • Implement OAuth/JWT authentication, RBAC, and rate limiting for backend services.
  • Build high-throughput services using Redis, RabbitMQ/Kafka, and webhooks.
  • Engineer resilient microservices with retries, idempotency, circuit breakers, and backpressure handling.
  • Design database schemas and migrations for PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB, including indexing, query tuning, and partitioning.
  • Implement and maintain accessible, responsive React user interfaces with routing, forms, and state management.
  • Build and support CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, security scanning, SonarQube quality gates, blue/green or canary deployments, and rollback automation.
  • Strengthen security and code quality through SAST/DAST, OWASP practices, dependency checks, code reviews, and secret hygiene.
  • Improve observability, performance, and scalability through logs, metrics, traces, alerting, SLOs, and capacity planning.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a full stack or backend-heavy engineering role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.
  • Experience designing REST APIs and working with authentication and authorization patterns such as OAuth, JWT, and RBAC.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB, including schema design, migrations, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Experience with Redis and messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
  • Working knowledge of React and modern frontend state management tools such as React Query, Zustand, or Redux.
  • Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, security scanning, and deployment strategies such as blue/green or canary releases.
  • Familiarity with observability tools such as Sentry, Grafana, and Prometheus.
  • Experience with performance tuning, microservices reliability patterns, and cloud/software security best practices.
  • Comfort using AI coding tools such as Cursor, Copilot, or LLM-based reviewers with prompt and secret safety discipline.
