Description

  • Identify, draft, negotiate, and implement partner agreements that reduce financial and business risk while driving partnership outcomes.
  • Build relationships with prospective strategic partners and lead the RFX process for expanding strategic operations services into new global markets.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to deepen and evolve partnerships in support of business objectives and future market expansion.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive partnership plans with internal stakeholders for current and proposed projects.
  • Nurture executive-level relationships with strategic partners to support smooth negotiations, faster timelines, and escalation management.
  • Establish best practices and internal systems to support Waymo’s work with strategic operations partners across teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in partner management, partner development, or account management.
  • Experience building relationships with executive stakeholders and service providers.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and work flexibly in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, highly collaborative environment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Detail-oriented with strong prioritization, planning, and implementation skills.
  • Excellent communication, strong analytical ability, meticulous follow-up, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to deliver results under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel 30% of the time to US-based locations.
  • Preferred experience in partner management, account management, or relationship building.
  • Preferred experience leading global partnership programs and driving decision-making across functions.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $177,000 to $218,000 USD.
  • Eligible for Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program.
  • Eligible for Waymo’s equity incentive plan.
  • Generous company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.
  • Remote work may be available, depending on location.
  • Waymo may not be able to employ remotely in all locations; location flexibility is discussed during hiring.
