Description

  • Develop and implement new features for the calendar and mail platform on Android.
  • Work on modernizing existing mobile experiences and product capabilities.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver features and maintain code quality.
  • Design and build Android applications using established architecture and design patterns.
  • Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and JSON-based services.
  • Use version control workflows to manage and track code changes.
  • Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems with strong attention to detail.
  • Participate in a long-term, full-time project with overlap during PST business hours.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Android development.
  • Strong Kotlin and Android development background, including Jetpack Compose.
  • Experience with Android SDK and Android Studio.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git.
  • Good understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes is preferred.
  • Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus.
  • Availability for a long-term, full-time engagement of 12+ months.
  • Ability to overlap at least 5 hours with PST.
