Description

  • Develop Android features and primarily work on Android systems, with occasional backend projects.
  • Write production code across the full software lifecycle from design through implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to define feature specifications and deliver high-quality customer experiences.
  • Work on backend microservices and other full-stack components when needed.
  • Participate in a fast release cycle with code shipping to production every few days.
  • Take responsibility for software quality, including QA and ongoing maintenance.
  • Collaborate with engineering groups located around the world.
  • Solve a wide range of technical problems and adapt to new technologies as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of commercial software development experience.
  • Experience developing an Android app.
  • Familiarity with mobile web and backend technologies is beneficial.
  • Experience with reactive programming in native mobile platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making.
  • Ability to operate effectively with a global-first mindset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to break down complex problems into simple solutions.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies.
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your work.
  • Experience with Kotlin, Coroutines, Jetpack Compose, Cursor, and GraphQL is part of the current tech stack.
  • Experience working with modular architecture, clean architecture, and MVVM is part of the current tech stack.
