Description

  • Write Android application code and contribute across the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment and maintenance.
  • Work primarily on Android systems with occasional backend microservice projects.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to define feature specifications and deliver high-quality customer experiences.
  • Take ownership of software engineering tasks including implementation, development experience, QA, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Work with engineering teams across multiple global locations.
  • Release code frequently and support a daily deployment cycle.
  • Learn and apply new technologies as needed.
  • Use AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making in day-to-day work.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of commercial software development experience.
  • Experience developing an Android app.
  • Familiarity with mobile web and backend technologies is beneficial.
  • Experience with reactive programming in native mobile platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve work efficiency and quality.
  • Ability to work effectively with a global-first mindset.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to break down complex problems into simple solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your work.
  • Experience with Kotlin, Coroutines, Jetpack Compose, Cursor, and GraphQL is part of the tech stack.
  • Experience with modular architecture, clean architecture, and MVVM is part of the environment.
