Description

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for decisions affecting the iOS platform and cross-functional partners.
  • Develop strong partnerships with product teams to anticipate future technology needs and address developer pain points.
  • Lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives that improve the iOS platform.
  • Use AI to accelerate migrations and refactoring efforts while remaining accountable for final decisions and deliverables.
  • Represent iOS engineers’ needs to leadership and prioritize platform work that supports feature quality and developer experience.
  • Scale leadership through mentorship, best practices, processes, training, and tools.
  • Review or delegate technical plans to ensure projects within iOS are well-designed and sound.
  • Communicate the current state and long-term strategy of the iOS platform to leadership.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise building iOS systems at scale with modern frameworks.
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in client architecture.
  • Track record of delivering large, cross-functional projects across multiple organizations.
  • Track record of championing developer velocity and feature quality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in day-to-day workflow for relevant outputs.
  • Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate and verify AI-assisted work through testing, source-checking, data validation, or peer review.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $118,938 to $244,872 USD for US-based applicants.
  • Eligible for equity.
  • Remote role with in-office collaboration only 1-2 times every 6 months.
  • Not eligible for relocation assistance.
