Description

Serve as the technical point of contact for decisions affecting the iOS platform and cross-functional partners.
Develop strong partnerships with product teams to anticipate future technology needs and address developer pain points.
Lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives that improve the iOS platform.
Use AI to accelerate migrations and refactoring efforts while remaining accountable for final decisions and deliverables.
Represent iOS engineers’ needs to leadership and prioritize platform work that supports feature quality and developer experience.
Scale leadership through mentorship, best practices, processes, training, and tools.
Review or delegate technical plans to ensure projects within iOS are well-designed and sound.
Communicate the current state and long-term strategy of the iOS platform to leadership.

Requirements

Deep expertise building iOS systems at scale with modern frameworks.
Knowledge of current trends and best practices in client architecture.
Track record of delivering large, cross-functional projects across multiple organizations.
Track record of championing developer velocity and feature quality.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in day-to-day workflow for relevant outputs.
Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate and verify AI-assisted work through testing, source-checking, data validation, or peer review.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.

Benefits

Base salary range of $118,938 to $244,872 USD for US-based applicants.
Eligible for equity.
Remote role with in-office collaboration only 1-2 times every 6 months.
Not eligible for relocation assistance.
