Description

  • Own day-to-day Salesforce administration, including users, permissions, sharing rules, objects, layouts, fields, and validation rules.
  • Design, build, and maintain Salesforce Flows and other declarative automation across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success.
  • Collaborate with the existing Salesforce administrator through knowledge sharing, guidance, and configuration or code reviews.
  • Manage Salesforce releases, including sandbox environments, testing, and production deployments.
  • Own the Salesforce security model and audit permissions, sharing rules, and data access for least-privilege compliance.
  • Administer the broader go-to-market technology stack, including Salesforce integrations, mass updates, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Help define AI strategy and identify opportunities to apply AI capabilities to automate processes.
  • Gather stakeholder requirements and implement scalable Salesforce-native solutions.
  • Build and maintain standardized and ad hoc reports and dashboards, and train users in self-service reporting.
  • Monitor data quality and lead deduplication, cleanup, enrichment, and integration-management initiatives.
  • Evaluate Salesforce integrations with marketing automation, CPQ, data enrichment, and other platforms.
  • Document configurations, processes, troubleshooting procedures, and recommended Salesforce release enhancements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required; Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder certification strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Salesforce Lightning environment, ideally as a power user.
  • Hands-on expertise building Salesforce Flows and other declarative automation.
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security architecture, and sharing rules.
  • Experience managing sandboxes, change sets, or DevOps tools for release management.
  • Experience translating business requirements into scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
  • Experience with integrations or middleware connecting Salesforce to other platforms.
  • Strong reporting and dashboard-building skills, including the ability to train users.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent requests in a fast-moving environment, with strong self-motivation.
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies and interest in clean energy or climate tech preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada; Voltus does not sponsor visas or transfers.
