Description

  • Deliver against quarterly and annual sales quota.
  • Recruit, support, coach, and develop the Enterprise Sales Directors team.
  • Act as a player/coach while directly managing an elite outside sales team.
  • Drive complex sales cycles with enterprise-class customers.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Develop functional expertise in the nine wholesale energy markets and Voltus’s products.
  • Work cross-functionally to drive impactful customer engagements.
  • Use data to track progress toward goals and manage team performance.
  • Maintain timely CRM reporting and management of Enterprise Team activities.
  • Develop and drive best practices across the organization.

Requirements

  • Remote role; candidates must be based in the United States and able to work from their home location.
  • Travel is required.
  • Experience leading and directly managing an outside sales team.
  • Experience driving complex sales cycles with enterprise-class customers.
  • Strong knowledge of energy markets, with a desire to deepen expertise in demand response and distributed energy resources.
  • Ability to build deep relationships with decision makers at Fortune 1000 companies and commercial and industrial customers.
  • Comfort working in a player/coach leadership role.
  • Preference for candidates located in one of the wholesale market territories.
  • Must be authorized to work from home in the U.S. or Canada, as applicable; no visa sponsorship or transfers for new hires.
  • Experience using a CRM system for activity tracking and reporting.

  • Estimated annual pay range of $290,000 to $330,000, including base salary and variable compensation target, plus equity.
