Description

  • Drive sales growth by pursuing new and targeted accounts in the assigned region.
  • Achieve annual sales objectives, including volume and profitability targets, and manage contingency actions for potential shortfalls.
  • Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business for Prime’s sourced products.
  • Conduct regular telephone outreach and in-person customer visits while organizing office and travel time effectively.
  • Deliver accurate first-visit company introductions and support prospecting activities.
  • Prepare weekly written market reports covering sentiment, offers, availability, news, and other relevant business intelligence.
  • Lead commercial development for new products within the area of responsibility.
  • Create area forecasts based on sales history and monthly Performance Polymers forecasts based on project development.
  • Manage claims through the claim management process and ensure ownership and follow-up on quality and service issues.
  • Coordinate with logistics, finance, Business Director, Product Manager, and Technical Managers to support customer needs, generate leads, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Track competitor activity, provide sourcing input on new markets and customers, and help maximize territory efficiency and profitability.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures and continue developing job knowledge through learning opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering related to rubber.
  • 10-15 years of experience in a similar field.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time.
