Description

  • Lead the strategic and operational growth of Vida’s business across Taft-Hartley funds, multi-employer plans, and union-affiliated benefit programs.
  • Build and manage the full sales pipeline from prospecting and relationship development to deal closing.
  • Increase customer base, customer loyalty, revenue per customer, and overall top-line growth in the labor trust segment.
  • Partner with leadership to strengthen brand equity and drive product sales across trustees, benefits administrators, and union stakeholders.
  • Articulate Vida’s product and mission in the context of member health outcomes and fiduciary stewardship.
  • Develop customized proposals that account for trustee priorities and fund-specific benefit structures.
  • Maintain relationships with fund trustees, benefits directors, labor-side counsel, and management-side counsel as appropriate.
  • Generate new business through industry networking, inbound inquiries, and channel and fund administrator partnerships.
  • Tailor positioning and sales approach for key labor market segments such as construction trades, public sector, healthcare workers, and transportation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5-7+ years of direct and indirect sales experience in the Taft-Hartley, labor trust, or multi-employer benefits space.
  • Proven history of exceeding sales targets.
  • Deep understanding of the Taft-Hartley Act, jointly-managed fund governance, and the multi-employer plan ecosystem.
  • Existing relationships with fund administrators and labor consultants preferred.
  • Experience with trustee-driven buying processes, committee presentations, and fiduciary-oriented RFP responses.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to self-start and motivate others.
  • Comfort working in a relationship-intensive, longer-cycle sales environment with complex stakeholder dynamics.
  • Ability to shift priorities quickly and adapt as needed.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to reside in/be able to work from a U.S. state where Vida is registered.

Benefits

  • Remote, full-time exempt role.
  • $160,000 to $170,000 annual salary.
