Description

  • Develop and execute a strategic outreach plan in collaboration with management.
  • Build VGS's customer base and strategic partnerships through best-practice sales execution.
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
  • Engage leads through outbound channels including phone, email, and social media.
  • Nurture relationships across customer organizations, from executives to engineering teams.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to inform product and business strategy.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through close.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or minimum 5+ years of experience in Sales or Business Development.
  • Experience managing both inbound and outbound sales.
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Technical expertise and the ability to sell a technical product to a technical audience.
  • Comfort working with upper management and engineering stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Thoughtful, decisive judgment in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Prior business development experience in fintech and/or data security is desired.
  • Prior experience at an emerging SaaS or software company.
  • Willingness to take ownership and help build a world-class sales organization.
