Description

  • Own and grow a portfolio of existing customers by identifying expansion opportunities across payments, AR automation, collaboration, and cash application solutions.
  • Partner with Customer Success Managers to develop coordinated account strategies and execute strategic account plans.
  • Engage finance, accounting, and IT leaders to understand their priorities, challenges, and digital transformation goals.
  • Lead the commercial motion within accounts, including opportunity identification, qualification, value articulation, proposal development, and commercial negotiation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sales-related activities throughout the expansion cycle.
  • Track, manage, and forecast pipeline activities and provide reliable updates to management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Solutions Consulting, and Implementation to support opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by teaching best practices, uncovering inefficiencies, and recommending tailored solutions that improve collections efficiency.
  • Support customers in reducing manual work, strengthening controls, and increasing the speed and volume of payments.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience.
  • Previous experience in a tech startup selling into finance is a bonus.
  • Exposure to accounting is preferred.
  • Experience managing and growing existing accounts with a strong focus on relationship building and client retention.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to close mid-market deals without executive sponsorship.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Comfort closing deals with an average selling price of $50K+.
  • Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce and in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with sales engagement platforms such as Salesloft, Outreach, or HVS.
  • Well organized, process-oriented, and able to manage multiple moving pieces while maintaining accurate pipeline hygiene and forecasting.
  • Bias toward action and ability to work independently to close gaps in the forecast.

  • Base salary of $90,000 - $100,000 per year.
  • On-target earnings of $150,000 - $165,000.
