Description

  • Perform troubleshooting and technical analysis, including log file investigation.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for fellow IT professionals.
  • Own customer issues from case opening through resolution.
  • Troubleshoot problems in Veeam products and third-party components such as Microsoft and VMware.
  • Identify whether issues are known, caused by defects, or due to misconfiguration.
  • Correct issues in break/fix scenarios and explain the resolution process to customers.
  • Document customer interactions accurately in the CRM tool and within SLA targets.
  • Provide customer education and guidance throughout the support case.

Requirements

  • Fluent English and German, both written and spoken.
  • Advanced user or administrative-level experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, or 2025.
  • Advanced user or administrative-level experience with Windows 10 or 11.
  • Practical knowledge of TCP/IP, including OS and firewall configuration.
  • Experience with networking configuration and troubleshooting, including NAT, ports, DHCP, and DNS.
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and explain technical information.
  • Ability and desire to take ownership of client issues through resolution.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • UNIX and/or Linux knowledge is a plus.
  • VMware ESX(i) experience is a plus.
  • Microsoft Hyper-V experience is a plus.
  • Microsoft Exchange Server administration experience is a plus.
  • Database engine knowledge such as SQL or Oracle is a plus.
  • Must be permanently located in the Czech Republic to be considered.
