Description

  • Manage the Inside Sales team to execute sales strategy and meet or exceed sales quota for the assigned territory.
  • Hire and onboard new team members.
  • Set business goals, role-based targets, and performance expectations for individual contributors.
  • Conduct performance management, regular one-on-one meetings, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with Segment Leaders on territory planning and execution.
  • Ensure the team is properly staffed to handle workload across assigned territories.
  • Work with the internal training team to support onboarding and training effectiveness.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff to improve performance and career growth.
  • Lead pipeline reviews and provide accurate forecasts against quarterly sales quota.
  • Ensure the team uses Salesforce.com consistently to log activities, updates, and CRM data.
  • Participate in management meetings and support sales improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a positive work environment and reinforce Veeam Core Values across the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • B2B sales experience with high-tech products or services.
  • Experience in people or team management.
  • Ability to work effectively across all levels of a matrix organization.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to communicate tactfully and sensitively with both decision-makers and junior staff.
  • Capacity for innovative thinking and problem-solving.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Self-education on sales and technical matters.
