Description

  • Own cross-workstream technical coordination so changes in one area do not create issues in another.
  • Translate high-level architecture and design direction into detailed, executable technical tasks.
  • Own implementation approach across the workstreams and deliver production-grade solutions.
  • Maintain engineering rigor across accessibility, performance, integration discipline, and overall quality.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, scope creep, and technical debt early and proactively propose solutions.
  • Triage and unblock issues in real time during client calls, stand-ups, and Slack communication.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in plain language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Keep engineering, product management, and design aligned on technical decisions, scope, and status.
  • Work directly with client stakeholders and internal teams to manage expectations and technical reality.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach engineers through technical reviews, guidance, and hands-on support.

Requirements

  • Significant senior or lead-level experience delivering complex e-commerce projects and supporting live production platforms.
  • Strong hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience, including SFRA architecture.
  • Experience across the full SFCC lifecycle, from new builds to business-as-usual support and incident response.
  • Deep proficiency across commerce systems, integrations, API design, data handling, and security.
  • Experience delivering across multiple workstreams in both project and operational/support contexts.
  • Experience working in delivery models involving agencies, clients, and external design/dev partners.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated people leadership and mentorship experience with engineering teams.
  • Ability to operate with high autonomy and turn vague goals into shipped, stable software.
