Description

  • Own and execute account strategies for assigned enterprise financial services accounts, with responsibility for growth, retention, expansion, and new business development.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior business, technology, security, infrastructure, risk, and procurement stakeholders.
  • Develop a strong pipeline aligned to quota across Veeam’s data resilience, cloud, SaaS, cyber recovery, and data security offerings.
  • Lead full enterprise sales cycles from discovery through close, including business case development, commercial strategy, procurement navigation, legal negotiation, and executive sponsorship.
  • Collaborate with channel partners, GSIs, cloud alliances, distributors, and internal teams on joint account plans and co-sell motions.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and account activity in Salesforce.
  • Identify opportunities to expand Veeam’s footprint within existing customers based on changing priorities and regulatory needs.
  • Engage financial services clients on operational resilience, cyber recovery, compliance, data governance, cloud transformation, SaaS protection, and AI risk.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of enterprise technology sales experience, preferably in software, cloud, cybersecurity, data protection, SaaS, infrastructure, or data management.
  • Proven success in a quota-carrying enterprise sales role.
  • Experience selling into financial services, banking, insurance, wealth management, or other regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of complex enterprise sales cycles, including multi-year agreements, procurement processes, legal review, and executive-level negotiation.
  • Ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience building strategic account plans and managing large, complex customer relationships.
  • Strong partner and channel collaboration experience.
  • Excellent forecasting, pipeline management, and Salesforce discipline.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and business-writing skills.
  • Direct experience with Canadian banking institutions or major Canadian financial services organizations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and operational resilience priorities in financial services is preferred.
  • Understanding of cyber resilience, ransomware recovery, backup and recovery, data protection, SaaS backup, cloud infrastructure, and AI/data governance is preferred.
  • Experience selling through Microsoft Azure Marketplace, AWS Marketplace, or enterprise licensing programs is preferred.
  • Existing relationships within the Canadian FSI technology, security, infrastructure, or procurement community are preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.

  • Pay range of $152,400 to $253,900 CAD with base pay and performance-based bonus or OTE.
