Description

  • Develop sales activity with existing and prospective VCSPs, including upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Build a sales pipeline through proactive outreach and conversion of sales conversations into qualified opportunities.
  • Work with regional sales teams, Cloud Systems Engineers, and other stakeholders to advance opportunities to close.
  • Close business in conjunction with VCSPs in a tier-two model.
  • Meet individual revenue targets where applicable.
  • Leverage business generated by VCSPs with end users and customers.
  • Drive account strategy and coordinate team-selling efforts across Sales, Partner Management, Marketing, and Sales Engineering.
  • Execute business plans to maximize revenue.
  • Enter forecasting and account/opportunity details into Veeam’s CRM system, Salesforce.
  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in marketing activities within the territory.
  • Target a defined set of resell and cloud providers in the Dutch market and develop joint sales opportunities with the local sales team.
  • Support existing resell and cloud providers in developing new offerings and services.
  • Lead hosting and cloud activities in the Netherlands in support of Veeam Cloud Service Providers.
  • Support rental distributors and sub-aggregators to grow Veeam cloud and hosting capabilities in the region.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of field sales experience with cloud, hosting, or service providers, including managing MSP partners.
  • Proven track record of closing substantial contract negotiations.
  • Familiarity with VMware, Microsoft, and virtualization/cloud technologies is advantageous.
  • Established relationships within top-tier cloud or hosting provider accounts, with the ability to build new partnerships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Business-level fluency in both English and Dutch.
  • Comfort operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving responsibilities.
  • Willingness to travel 0-50% of the time.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a proactive approach to seeking support when needed.
  • Strong team-oriented mindset with effective collaboration skills.
  • Permanent location outside the Netherlands may result in application decline.
