Description

  • Design and execute a territory business plan to meet and exceed quota.
  • Drive new business through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing opportunities.
  • Generate leads and build relationships with existing customers, prospects, and channel partners.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through closing new business.
  • Develop and implement territory action plans using data analysis and field results.
  • Maintain strong relationships with tier-two channel partners to identify new opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate reports, proposals, and executive-level presentation materials.
  • Coordinate with Inside Sales, Channel Partner Managers, Marketing, Sales Engineering, Deal Desk, and Legal to support quota attainment.
  • Negotiate pricing and business terms by positioning value and ROI.
  • Maintain forecast accuracy and update opportunity details in Salesforce.com.
  • Develop and grow key account relationships, including aspirational targets.
  • Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape to position Veeam effectively.
  • Travel within the assigned territory as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the Veeam sales process.
  • Experience driving new business and managing a quota-bearing sales territory.
  • Ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals.
  • Strong negotiating skills.
  • Ability to present offerings in a compelling way.
  • In-depth Veeam product knowledge.
  • Experience working with channel partners in a tier-two model.
  • Ability to prepare concise reports, proposals, and executive-level materials.
  • Experience maintaining opportunity data and forecasting in Salesforce.com.
  • Candidates already residing in Alabama or Mississippi are strongly preferred.
